Brethren and Friends:

Hello everyone,

Well here I am Senior Warden for 2010. To quote Chevy Chase from “Christmas Vacation”, “If I woke up tomorrow with my head stapled to the carpet I couldn’t be any more surprised than I am now.”

Another fine mess you’ve gotten me into George and somewhere the puppet master is pulling the strings.

I’ve never really thought how a Lodge is run. I come in and watch the ritual, sometimes I participate, and then I go home. How things get done so that we can do that, I never thought about. So this year is going to be an intensive internship for me. I’ll be watching and listening to WM Tom and PM George Burkley and also PM Steve Herendeen very closely so I will have some Idea what to do when my turn comes next year. Providing that I survive this year.

I’ll do my best.
